Rebecca Gethin
Rebecca’s poems have appeared in numerous publications, and she gives regular readings around Devon. She lives on Dartmoor, but also spends time in the Italian Maritime Alps, where her ancestors lived; and both of these areas are reflected in her poetry. She teaches creative writing to prisoners, and has recently finished writing her first novel.

Simon Williams and Susan Taylor are launching a new poetry publication next month, called ‘Broadsheet’. The first issue will include poets reading at the Exeter Poetry Festival and poets from Devon and Cornwall. The Oversteps poets represented in this first issue are: Jennie Osborne, Rebecca Gethin and Alwyn Marriage.

Rebecca Gethin’s novel, ‘Liar Dice’, published by Cinnamon, will be launched in Exeter on 11th November. Rebecca’s poetry collection, ‘River is the Plural of Rain’, was published by Oversteps in 2009.
